An idealist might expect that the best pictures would wind up on the calendar. A realist might expect that the process would be corrupted by the self-serving and the unethical.
At this point I would love to see which pictures Marty and his administrators would choose. The objective is to produce the finest product. There should be no other considerations.
I can only imagine what the ethically challenged might resort to. Registering only for the sake of influencing the outcome. Perhaps voting for lesser quality photos as a form of sabotage. Turning the poll into a popularity contest. From what I've seen on other forums I can rather quickly arrive at a list of prime suspects!
To those of you who honestly and objectively chose the best shots, nice to share this space with you. To those who didn't, a curse upon your house!
Selective regards,
Rick

Great flowers, great job! But I have to admit.. I don't like plastic clips and wires or anything which is not natural to be seen on a calendar flower...

Orchid calendar photos
After looking at all the photos I have come to the conclusion that I like orchid photographed against a natural background as long as it is not too fussy and does not compete with the orchid. I guess for my taste, this rules out the ones photographed against black.
I also appreciate the posts for people who did the logical and voted for either 12 or 13 photos for a calendar.

I voted for 13, seems appropriate becuase there are 12 months and a cover page. But whats to stop someone from voting for all 49?
