Is there a limitation on when the picture was taken? Does it have to be one taken in 2011 or can it be in any year?

Paphiopedilum urbanianum
Paphiopedilum urbanianum
Not my own orchid.
I photographed it at the Danish Orchid Society 50th anniversary show april 2010.
The orchid was exhibited by Sjćllands Orchide Klub.

Ysa, careful as if I read what Marty said right, they weren't accepting portrait photos, only landscape. But, it's beautiful!
|
Yes: that is correct.
@Marty: I think we should have a portrait calendar one year (maybe 2013). Some plants just don't photograph that well in landscape (Gongora, some Stanhopeas, other stuff that has a hanging flower, some Aerangis). It would give a different feel calendar.

I'm jealous of those who have some to choose from. I'm still in the high single digits on home-bloomed plants, and have only been to one show, and none of the above have I had a camera. So, again! Blooms chids Bloom!.
I'm hopefully my Zygo will bloom, maybe my Psy. Papilio before the dealine, but I'm gonna cut it close.

I don't have any pictures that are worthy of being in a calendar . I will definitely buy one this year though. I didn't get the one for 2011, but I really enjoyed the calendar from 2010. It's makes turning the calendar pages so fun .
