Hi boabab9
This is a great species. Keep us informed with your progress and please post some photos when it flowers.
I can only suggest what I would do with this species. I would keep it potted and not mount it. Although there are Dendrochilum species that should be mounted (subgenus Dendrochilum and Sumatran species of section Eurybrachium) most perform better if in a pot.
Dendrochilum luzonense is found in mossy forest which means it likes a humid environment with plenty of air movement. It can be grown in brighter light than many other Dendrochilum.
This species should be given slightly cooler temperatures than others in the genus.
Dendrochilum luzonense is most closely related to Dendrochilum williamsii, and they are considered sister species. You are more likely to find information on Dendrochilum williamsii if you want anything further.
Cheers
Trey
