Coelogyne mooreana - Orchid Board

Coelogyne mooreana is one of my favourites among Coelogyne species. Pristine white flowers are about 4 inches in size. Coelogyne mooreana is distributed in Vietnam (Da Lat, Dunkia-Mi-Ba, Nhalrang, Mount Dango-pot).

To me its smell is very elegant, not heavy, but noticeable, not only “flowery” but there are some very gentle spicy tones there, something “green” as well, and all together is very fresh and in harmony with this crispy white …. I like this fragrance a lot!
