This is my first ever cattleya rebloom. I got this one on discount at King scoopers last year in Nov. and it was in pretty bad shape. I repotted it in lava with some moss on top. Soon after I repotted it, it started on two new growths. Just last months I noticed the buds, it still has one unopened bud behind this flower. A third growth started about two months ago. No fragrance that I notice, the color is a deep red dark maroon. It seems brighter in the picture.

Thank you, DeaC, if you ever visit CO. Check out Fantasy Orchids outside of Denver. It's our only orchid nursery, then there is a tiny little orchid shop here in Springs that sells their out of bloom orchids for $5-10 dollars. It's terrible, I can't keep my self away from the place lol.

The plant looks really healthy, too.

Thank you everyone, I am on cloud 9. This year seemed to be such a good one for orchid blooms
