Interesting. The siblings that have been judged are passing for C. gaskelliana and the vendor felt that the flask came from a very reliable source. He is an honest guy and I know he paid good money for the flask as it was supposed to be a good species cross. Should I tell him that it is possible that he was cheated?

Fortunately, even as noID's, I really love the results. The large, wonderfully fragrant flowers are very delicate yet last a while, the coloring on both is very pretty, and the orchid is really easy to grow and bloom. Even better, as he had already chosen the winners from the flask, these were a nice bargain.
