Little NOID Catt with a big scent
I picked this unidentified Cattleya up from Lowes last spring when it was on one of their clearance tables. It fell in two when I unpotted it, so I planted each piece in its own pot and basically forgot about it over the summer. Now both pieces have become fully established and made new growths. And they're flowering! Still have no idea what the name of this small cattleya hybrid is, or what's in its background, but the blooms are incredibly fragrant, with an intense lemon scent. Not a bad haul for a $5 throw-away plant from Lowes.
