Question on Displaying Catts

Question on displaying Catts or I guess any orchid in bloom for that matter. I have a Cattleya that has been in bud for several weeks and they are just starting to open. This particular orchid is in my only south window in my house which happens to be in a guest room that I rarely go in to (just to water the orchids) I would love to move this guy to my kitchen while it is in bloom to better enjoy it. Not really much natural light in my kitchen unfortunately. If I do move it once it is in bloom how long can I keep it there without doing a disservice to the orchid? Assuming the bloom lasts 3-4 weeks should I only display it in my kitchen for say a week or would it be fine the entire time it is in bloom?

It will be fine in the kitchen for the duration of its' bloom. I have done this with hundreds of Cattleyas when I move them to the center of my living room which is very low light.
