Default Cattleya schilleriana

This is flowering for the first time. It has been grown in moss since it was a small seedling not higher than 2", taking three years to mature and bloom. Notice the strong p-bulbs. As always with this species, the strong spicy fragrance is fantastic!

Great colors! Is three years to bloom normal? It sounds like a pretty short time to me! Good growing!

Yes, Steve, three years is a good time for this species, at least one year before the expected normal time.
