However, your L briegheri is 100 times as attractive with the yellow pigment as it would be without. In fact, it is precisely the color it needs to be in order to produce that wonderful Lc Lemon Creme.

:) Yes, Carl, it is not an alba, it is an albescens. The name on the photo is in very little letters, but it is possible to read 'albescens' there, I guess. And I agree, it is possible that the Laelia briegeri parent is my plant, because both - Lc Lemon Creme and my L. briegeri -came from the same nursery.
And just as a complement contribution, in Cattleyas and Laelias yellow and green are allowed in alba varieties.

Some more, nice to know facts. I didn't know that about yellow/green allowed in albas. Veeeeery interesting!

I didn't know it either. In any event, I would give up a lot to own either the L briegheri or the Lc Lemon creme.

The plant is more or less 12" tall, Paul with compact growth habit.

David, please let me know if you find this plant. It sure would be nice to have. Thus far, I have had no success.

No luck yet Jerry...but if I can get a hold of the right parents, I plan on doing a remake. I'll keep you posted. :)
