On another note, there was an SVO open house today. All the remaining Ctsm for $18 plus a 20% discount, so $14.40, regardless of the grex. So I bought some of the Darkonium hybrids that I missed on before. Considering these were if I recall $30 before, that's an over 50% discount. Needless to say I spent a lot.
that's a score! The pics of Darkonium/Dragons Glade hybrids I've seen have been dynamite! I may have seen a couple in person as well but they sure didn't cost 14.40!

Repotted my dormant catasetinae, PET method, dry. Left the grace dunn alone because it has spikes (I think!).

Yup. Cl. Rebecca Northen (one parent is Grace Dunn) has spikes all over the place. And this year I scored a Cl. rosea (the other parent) which is in spike too (on a little single p-bulb) . They'll bloom while completely dormant. Usually during February, but this year may do it a bit sooner.

My catasetinae collection is also nicely tucked in for their winter rest. Also, it is definitely the time for Grace Dunn spiking. Here's my Cl. Grace Dunn 'Live Oak' x Ctsm. schunkei 'SVO' currently in bloom. She's beautiful and I love that particular cross.
