The "toasted" plant will be fine. I would continue to water gently, but since it won't be losing water through leaves, won't need much, and taper off... dormancy just a bit earlier than usual. Next spring, it likely will take off like nothing happened. The beauty of Catasetinae... they reinvent themselves every year.

A very beautiful species! A lot of flower power on a baby plant. It'll be spectacular as it gets bigger!

I was hoping the second part of the Catasetum list was going to drop this week. The website says look for it in late August, so hopefully we'll see the list next week!

Hi, Stephen Yes, I've been checking everyday for the next notice, too. I finally saved up enough money to get some goodies from the first listing. As you can see, I went a little crazy

**SVO 9953 Clo. JEM's Speckled Russ (Cl. russelliana 'SVO' x Ctsm. denticulatum 'SVO II' AM/AOS)
**SVO 10578 Ctsm. NEW HYBRID (Ctsm. juruenense 'SVO 40' x Ctsm. semicirculatum 'The Best One')
**SVO 10579 Cyc. pentadactylon (Cyc. pentadactylon 'H&R' x Cyc. pentadactylon 'Dr. John Doherty' AM/AOS)
**SVO 10640 Ctsm. Diana's Dots (Ctsm. tigrinum 'SVO' x Ctsm. Orchidglade 'Davie Ranches' AM/AOS)
**SVO 10713 Clo. Elizabeth Anne Gallagher (Cl. Rebecca Northen 'Grapefruit Pink' x Ctsm. tigrinum 'SVO')

Now cross your fingers that I'll have enough funds left to get something else good from the 2nd list
