thank you, katrina. mine is also an easy grower, it has put on 11 new growths since summer 2014 when i got it. but those blooms! so elusive!

it is right next to my other bulbos under 50% shade cloth. I just can't imagine those big, fleshy leaves being able to handle high cattleya light, but i'll have to accept it and make some adjustments. i'm going to see if the no-fertilizer treatment does anything first...there's lots of time to experiment...
