Didn't have any instructions... basically, just rectangles... I recall that sections were about 3' so that a 6' shop light had legs and horizontal cross pieces at the ends across the plant area, and horizontals on the edges as well and in the middle. The lights came with chain hangers, which I just looped over the end horizontals. A top view would look something like this "frame"

"O" indicates a leg going down to the floor. The "tinkertoy" fittings and PVC pipe came from Home Depot. A PVC pipe cutter is quite inexpensive.

Thanks for the diagram Roberta. The next time I'm in Lowe's or Home Depot, I'll start pricing the PVC pipe and fittings.

I fixed up the diagram so it makes more sense... PVC pipe and the fittings are super-cheap. There's probably about $10 worth of materials, or less, for this setup for a 6' shop light. The cutter is probably about $10, timers don't cost much either. Oh, also if you don't glue the parts, it is very easy to take apart if you move
