Pleione Confusa culture?
Default Pleione Confusa culture?

I attended the OSWP (Pittsburgh) orchid show today with a friend and I thought I was going to escape without bringing home yet another orchid but then I saw the Pleione Confusa sitting on a vendor's table and I ended up bringing it home. It was an impulse buy and I know nothing about it. The vendor laughed when I worried the bloom would be affected by the cold and explained that it likes the cold. I discovered that it also likes shade. Does anyone else in zone 5 (or lower) grow these? Do you put them in the refrigerator in the winter? Do you begin watering them when they are in bud or do you wait until they are done blooming? Any other advice? There isn't as much information online as I had hoped to find so I am really hoping that others who grow this or have information can help me.
Thanks!

Never mind, I just found the information I needed. Looks as though these are ridiculously easy to grow!
