New Phal, or "Why I shouldn't be allowed out of the house with money"
I was bored tonight, so I decided to see if Home Depot had anything new. You know . . . just looking. Not buying because I CAN'T AFFORD TO!
This new giant phal (I have no idea what the name for the really big sized phals is, or if there is no name . . ) somehow appeared in my home as if by magic.
I was so torn when I was at Home Depot NOT buying this phal, because it has the end of one leaf cut off, but the blooms were SO much bigger and SO much more gorgeous than all of the others, it won out in the end. I mean uh . . . it chose me and followed me home? Yeah, that's it.

Very nice, I haven't see a white Phal at Home depot near me, I know what you mean that it chose you, I have a few that did the same thing to me

I'm a bit rusty with the whole photography thing, but this baby was begging for more than just iphone treatment. Pulled out the DSLR and attempted a few shots.

I know exactly how you feel corry...most of my orchids either followed me home or magically appeared somehow. Well that's what I tell my hubby, roflmao. Hubby won't let me near a garden supply store or home depot or lowe's or........

Last week I bought a lotery ticket, one of those scratch & win for $2. And I won $10. You think one could spend it on a nice meal or a couple of shampoo bottles that would last a while, or -... Nope, shortly after,a new orchid needing TLC magically appeared in a happy winner's house!

I find excuses to go to the grocery store just so I can casually walk by the orchid display and see if any of the plants cry out "don't leave me in the hands of these fools!"

I love huge flowers, so even though I am not a fan of white, I think it is gorgeous.
Us addicts can't go anywhere that there are orchids.
