Should I bring my chids in for the day? 93 degrees out
I have about 30 orchids outside hanging from trees and stuff, none are in direct light except for my cyms and my den. Tomorrow it's supposed to get to 93 degrees and with humidity supposed to feel like 109. The weather is also calling for thunder showers. My question is; should I bring them in tonight or will a day in high heat really do that much damage? I just watered them tonight and it looks like they will get another watering tomorrow if it rains. I have phals, dens, cyms, oncids and catts outside. Almost all of them are far away from direct light. My den seems to love the light and is growing amazingly, my cyms are growing very well in direct light as well. The rest are in filtered light or shade. They have all been outside for over a month and all doing well. Am I going to encounter any problems from one hot humid day?
