Default Unknown plant

I was cleaning up my plant area & found what I thought was a pot full of dirt. I went to dump it out & found the plant pictured below. I re-potted it it top of the dirt & it is turning green & showing new growth. Can any of you knowledgable horticulturists identify the plant for me. Thanks.

It looks like a lily "bulb".hey tend to get green when they are out of soil.
Wait until it has grown a stem,then put more soil on the surface.

I'll second Snow, lily, it's going to need about 6" of soil over it and full sun.
