Moving phal while in spike

Hello! I have a phal that is in spike, then stem is now about and inch and a half long. It was on a shelf that is not high enough to accommodate large flower spikes, and since I staked this phal today, it needed to be placed elsewhere. It is still in the same window, but had to turn it 90 degrees to place it on a larger shelf. Is this okay for the buds ( ie they won't bloom upside down).
