sanderianum hybrids

I just bought two very sexy sanderianum hybrids and need to know how to care for them. I googled it and came up with oyster shells and lime. Do I use both at the same time or one or the other?

Is an east facing window ok? Can I use a fancy orchid pot or must I stick with boring plastic? Do I feed all year round? Any other things I should know?

They were advertised as two years from blooming. When they do bloom I want all that spiraling slipper goodness. Please help me. I don't want to kill these.

what no one replied???? oh well i will put in my two cents worth.....oyster shell goes in all the paphs in my care....i dont know about lime....east facing should be ok....i would use boring plastic, and use the fancy orchid pot as a cache pot....repot every year with paphs also....they like fresh medium...and please be sure and post pics of them as they progress.....they are fabulous plants!!!

What crosses did you get? An east window should be fine but if growing on a windowsill I find I can't keep the humidity high enough to keep the beautiful twisty petals fresh looking. When they are in flower in the house the petals seem to dry out and get limp looking.
Fancy pots would be fine as long as they drain well. I find multiflorals do better in deep pots. If grown well the roots can get rather long.

Thank you both for your replies. I found them helpful. I will post pictures when they bloom.
Right now they have a 17 inch leaf span so it will be a couple of years yet.
