That was my guess too, but I haven't tried the sedges have edges rule on it yet. I've never touched the plant Don't know why, I just water the tank, I don't play around in there. Hehe. The Bog tank was started in the classroom after one of our field trips to the bog. THanks for the link!

I checked the link and I do not know if it will help or not. It was the only one that I could find with any images of NY bog plants. You may have to use the library and see if there are any texts on Sedges that are native to NY and that have pictures. eFlora may have some info but I did not check it.
