Default Essential Plus Natural Plant & Root Stimulant

Hope this thread isn't offensive to anyone... I'm just trying to draw attention to something I want to share with everyone. For those of you who like using organic material on your orchids, I have found this item and have been using it with very good success. "Essential Plus provides a safe alternative to the use of chemical hormones like IBA and NAA for the propagation of cuttings and production of faster rooting and greater root mass." My phalaenopsis seem to be growing much better roots and some that I thought were on their way out have "perked up". I purchased a case of 12 32 oz. bottles; this is the smallest quantity they would allow me to buy. I have placed on sale, at my cost plus shipping, some of the extra product... I'm not here to make any profit... So you'll find the item listed in the Classified Section under "Supplies".

Thanks

The only thing I'll take offense with is their claim that it is an alternative to "chemical" hormones like IBA and NAA.
1) No matter what the source, all of the active ingredients are chemicals.

2) IBA and NAA are more-stable analogs of naturally-occurring hormones anyway.
With that off my chest, I'll add that humic acid seems to be a good addition to a fertilizer regimen (I can hardly keep it on the shelf), and the kelp extracts have some other chemicals that induce rooting.

All-in-all, I'd say that stuff is probably a pretty good supplement, but will not take the place of a good fertilizer.

Thanks Ray for your comments. I agree that there is no substitute to good common sense growing techniques. My comments are just those of Growth Products, Inc. and not mine.... I just want to sell off my extra items.
