No special treatment really. It will take as long as a seedling to recover if it does.
I have it in a pot filled with pumice, that keeps it humid. It has to do all the hard work now.

I just wish I had shown a progression of this one. I think it had 4 leaves when I bought it. I had to cut a lot of stem away now, basically if I saw any black I kept cutting.

I sealed the wound with a home remedy another grower told me about. It acts like a plant sealant. I use this over cinnamon as it kills all bacteria and fungus. That's the purple stuff but mainly because I am too cheap to buy a proper systemic copper treatment like phyton. It seems to have worked at least.
