Krull Smith will be at the Orlando show. They do all of the shows in FL it seems.

Hi Stefan, Tropiflora in Sarasota isn't an orchid nursery but has a huge variety of bromeliads, epiphytic cacti, and other fascinating tropical plants. Also check out Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, their grounds and display house are amazing.

I visited Amazonia orchid in Homestead, a lot of cattleyas and some others, their prices are great.

I can't believe I didn't remember Odom's, I've dealt with them before and been very happy. Really, if it's catts you're after they're worth going out of your way.

The 'bag babies' are at Lowe's and Home Depot stores- around here Lowe's seems to get more.

Flea markets and farmer's markets where you'll be staying are possibilities too- I've seen decent stuff (sometimes) at flea markets, a very few growers set up booths at them. The same for farmer's markets, I know a few have growers at them. I know one is supposed to set up at the farmer's market in Poinciana, near the attractions outside Orlando.

Homestead is just south of Miami, on the way to the keys. There are about a dozen growers in Homestead. My favorite for cattleyas is Carib Plants. They're hard to find so take a GPS. B&G Orchids is a good vendor. Ruben in Orchids is more likely to have species rather than hybrids. The Redlands Orchid Festival is May 15th through the 17th. What dates will you be in Florida?
