I would never order from them online after reading the stories. Wonder if purchasing in person would be different especially if the orchid was in bloom?

Especially if it's Norman helping you.
They'll add on more than a few $$ and try and slip it past you.

I did read the whole thing of the former. While roaches can transmit CymMV, it sounds like very mechanical. In many cases, replication of plant viruses occur in vectors, but it does not seem to be the case here. Basically, roaches eat infected plants and they mechanically transmit the virus.

I do recall one paper on insect vector for ORSV published maybe 2002 or 2003, but am not able to find it. Will try again when I have time.

But even if there are vectors for these, virus infection via insect vector is minor compared to mechanical transmission.
