PC Orchids Inc. Very resonable shipping orders. $10 flat rate on as many plants as you'd like.

I'm fortunate to live in Central Florida where there is a grower of a diverse variety of absolutely WONDERFUL plants. They are quite inexpensive but the size and quality of the orchids is just amazing to me!

So if you're ever in Central Florida, it's certainly well worth the stop! By appointment only. Called "Touch of Orchids and More". Kathy and Donny Stoner.

They also have a nice variety of supplies including mounts and really different baskets that he custom makes himself. (I LOVE the baskets!)

It's a really neat place to visit. I've gotten so many ideas for my own orchid house from them. In addition, they have many orchids already mounted and established!

Here is a VERY incomplete list of what they have:
Angraecums
Cattleyas
Phal's
Phrags
Slippers
Vanda's of all types, sizes
Dend's
Bulbophyllums
Rossioglossums
Rhynchostylis
Neofinetias
All kinds of jewels and mini's
Oncidiums
Carnivorous plants
etc...etc...etc...

I'm probably going to regret this! Check it out...and tell them that "Janet" sent you!

I was a big fan of Oak Hill Gardens in Chicago, IL, but their new owners have bumped up the prices, and do not attend the orchid shows in my area, unlike Greg at Oak Hill. The majority of my collection came from them, and I miss them terribly. The new owners have also moved all of the plant stock further north into Wisconsin, which is too far for me to drive. Chicago was far enough.

I've been starting to buy more from Windswept in Time, and so far, I've been happy with their plants. The prices aren't quite as good as Oak Hill, but the plants are healthy, and they have a good selection. Also, Edgar Stehli is a very kind and informative seller, with whom I enjoy talking. I'll be happy to continue buying orchids from him in the future. I believe they're located in the Cleveland, OH area. Edit: I should add that his educational background is in biology, and his wife, Kim, has an educational background in horticulture, if I'm not mistaken. They make a great team, and I trust in their knowledge.

Meke Aloha Orchids. Schom hybrids. Paul Storm likes to say he is a hobbyist. Plants are virus tested and always healthy. Size represents great value 70% of the time. Seedlings are a bargain and sourced to local sellers. Ships in bare root.

Ecuagenera in Apopka. On site visit to select some absolute monster Cattleyas for $35.

I'm only familiar with Michael Cook on Etsy (Triton Orchids), and I've been pleased with the plants I have gotten from him.

He is an old customer of mine who has started buying plants and reselling them. I can buy from the same wholesale suppliers as he, but I don't have the space to acquire multiple plants at a time, so am happy paying his premium for single plants.
