Default OFE International, Inc. Anyone order from them?

Hello I orders some supplies, New Zealand sphag moss and few other things from this company. As anybody had any experience ordering from this Miami-base company?

I haven't personally but I know of people who do order from them and they all love it.

I have used OFE on/off for years. It's improving, too. Thanks for reminding me....I need to place another order--tomorrow!

I visited the store while in Miami in January. It was very well-worth the effort. I have a better understanding of the products.

My suggestion is to try products in smaller quantities first to determine if it meets your needs. NZ sphag, cattleya and phal mixes, etc vary from one vendor to another.

One product that I tried as a result of my visit was a "special fern mix". It's designed to grow ferns IN this mix. I'm not exactly certain what it contains (I will ask when I order next), but considering that many orchids grow in tree fern roots, I guessed that it's worth a try. It works successfully for my Lockhartia lunifera. I just started using it sparingly and locally around Bulbo Elizabeth Ann roots. It wasn't such a great idea for my Cryptanthus fosterianus! No great loss--the plant lives to be repotted in peat moss!

Update: I got my order from OFE International today. The packaging of my shipment was excellent. And they included a catalog of the products they offer plus price list. I will definitely do business with them again in future.
