Thank you all. I had a lovely day and went to Bamboo and to 2-3 in Miami. I enjoy the visit but didn't find anything that was worth to clandestine import with me.

As DC and Roberta said, getting out is not a problem. In Spain they don't check that much, but they'll not allow to bring natural stuff; plants, fruits, farm stuff.

I'll be coming frequently anyway.

i was wondering if you talked to folks at one of the bigger nurseries, that they don’t have cites permits already for plants, why couldn’t you have them give you one if it is something that you really wanted? we have only started growing during the pandemic, and so have never actually visited an orchid nursery, nor tried to bring one with us thru customs. perhaps permits are not something they would do for a single plant or 2? but yeah, it seems like something that could be done....thoughts for your future florida forays
