Orchids teach patience... Those Cattleya seedlings grow fast compared to some... get a Dendrobium speciosum seedling of the same size and it may be 10 years or more... orchids don't do anything fast. But when they do, Oh baby!

I get a huge amount of pleasure watching plants grow. I don't fixate solely on their reproductive organs.

Gardening, to me is about nurturing and finding a balance in the cycles at play on the living things in my area. I can be in tune with the weather, aware of the bugs, compensating for the heat or lack of rain, and always listening (figuratively) as much as doing

I am not criticizing, but to me, focus on the flowers only is like missing 3/4 of the story

Has anyone ever successfully placed only one SVO order? Am I the only one who always goes back for round 2 during SVO catasetum and cattleya releases? Does Fred sprinkle crack on these things?

Just ordered these for round 2:

SVO7893 - 3inch Epc. Magic Wand (Epc. Kyoguchi 'M. Sauno Mutation' x Lc. Trick or Trick 'Orange Magic' AM/AOS)
SVO7658 - 3inch Lc. NEW HYBRID (Lc. Jalapa 'Ruben's Pick' 4n x C. aclandiae 'Kathleen II' 4n AM/AOS)
SVO7672 - 3inch C. NEW HYBRID (C. Princesse Clementine 'SVO' AM/AOS x C. Mark Jones 'SVO' HCC/AOS)

Buying just once is like eating one potato chip. Not going to happen.

That would be like thinking you only need to wash your hands once a year.
