Intergeneric Hybrids - Part II Male
Default Intergeneric Hybrids - Part II

I expect to add more chapters to this subject as I bloom plants this coming spring/summer (provided that we ever warm up here in NJ). In the meantime, a few other fun plants that I have bloomed previously. NOTE: I am using names from the original labels. Most are classified as something different today.

First, Rumrillara Margaret's Jewels (Rhy coelestis x [Neofinetia falcata x Ascocentrum curvifolium).

Next, Paravanda Mecca's Candy 'Sweet Tooth', which is (Paraphalaenopsis laycockii x Papilionanthe teres). It is a larger plant, but with upright terete leaves it is not hard to fit in.

Finally, Vanderweghara Tom Raso 'Glowing Embers' HCC/AOS, which is a ([Vanda x Ascocentrum] x [Phalaenopsis x Doritis]) hybrid.

Winter is easier to take when you have those beauties at home, it's like living in the tropics.
