Hello friend! Few questions:

How much light is the plant getting?

It could be from having more than usual light.

How often are you watering it?

This is a wet -> dry -> wet -> dry kind of orchid, while also getting some moisture from the humidity in the air. Your pot looks it's got moss in it and it's got holes for airflow, so also long as you let it get on the drier side before watering again, while holding off on watering a bit more in the winter, you should be good.

Also, it's second parent Vandachostylis Lou Sneary or Vandachostylis Charm? The parents for those varieties are slightly different.

Hello, It is a new orchid I just received so I suspected that it may have received high light.

I wasn't sure whether or not this spotting is normal for this type of Vanda.

😁

I'm not sure what the parents are as it just says Vanda nana x v. Charm 'lou sneary'. Thank you for the advice ☺️

I think those spots are purple color, right? Many of my vandas have purple spotting and I believe that it is very normal and actually indicates a healthy plant that is doing well. No worries.

Yes they do have a purple tint to the spots, I thought it could be normal but it just looks so drastic on a tiny plant 😁. I think it should be ok though thank you ☺️
