Vanda main stem splitting
Default Vanda main stem splitting
Hello! So I got a new Vanda from Holland and it has huge root growing from main stem wigly and the stem in that place is splitted. Will this be okey? It looks like it spiltted a long time ago because it doesn’t look fresh. Now the roots is attached to the outer layer of splitted stem (I would say bark comapering to tree)

It's OK. Sometimes this happens with large roots.
