Actually ebay made this more difficult in recent months, since they now obscure the userIDs in the vendor and buyer feedback. Previously, they only obscured the IDs in the auctions. Also they use different fake IDs for the users in the auctions versus in the feedbacks. I used to be able the figure out identities by correlating the feedback score values.

COFFEECUP!!!! I was reading this thread and drinking my coffee and I literally chocked! Shame on you!

I do admit, when you live in the cold tundra of the United States, and your cable is out--again, the only REAL entertainment is watching all these people bidding on itty bitty little plants.

I like your idea of holding back and saving pennies for the holidays. I'm at the point where I cannot buy any more plants in fear of getting Neofinetia Cocktails..."care for a little scotch over Neo Ice Cubes?"

It is unseasonably cold for the next two weeks. This Saturday Fort Wayne is expected to reach 40*F for two days then a cold front moves in with day time temps expected to be around 20*F. I think that is too cold even for Neofinetia. So I'm just going to watch and see how others do with their bidding.

Jayfar, I did notice how obscure eBay has made bidding. It makes harder to recognize whose who. This is why, if I was inclined to bid, I do not bid on folks who have less than 100 feedback--which I fall into. But I have enough of these plants, and wish the newer bidders success in acquiring these plants. I figure, the more people own them, the less rare they become, which means less cost for acquisition. At least that is my theory!

So how many did you get the past 3 nights??? C'mon fess up.

I actually did completely abstain myself, although I had my eye on a few.

Is anyone bidding on satomi's auctions? I have my eye on the senzai and the fugaku.
