Jayfar, quick question, does the Shutennou have pink/red/plum -ish root tips? (this is one I've had my eye one ) Or are they green?

Any of my others I could tell you, but on the Shutennou I don't have any good exposed tips right now; I dug one out and it looks just a bit pink at the very tip. Another reference I googled claimed dark burgundy. Botany Boy's site shows ruby red in a photo.

Thanks Jayfar! That helps a lot! I am definitely gonna order the Shutennou... Although, I liked the flowers so much, I probably would've anyways!

From everything I read, Shutennou has roots "Dark red" (or burgundy) (濃い赤) but not ruby red.

Coudl the reason his has just a pink tip be because the root he looked at was under the moss?
