You let them keep the ball???

Well that means you can’t do it ever again. They know that as a toy now…..

Next time try mounting it in their kibble……

It didn't look much like a ball shape anymore. They will also occasionally steal a shoe (only mine), a dish towel, hot pad... anything they've seen me messing around with a lot. We've actually progressed a long way from puppy stage, where my side of couch was chewed, keyboard mouse, etc, were often found outside. Even the alpha of a pack of dogs has her limits.

Err so I know this is completely off topic but I was treating this one for thrips and I noticed that a lot has happened here since I last showed it not too long ago (probably washing some of the algae off helped)

If someone begs me I will take a better picture without holding the camera and the pot in my not so steady hands but you can see what has happened, I was pleasantly surprised and nobody has shown these pictures before I don't think. These roots grow in 100% humidity. To be honest they should be dead but a tiny root tip is poking out the bottom and it has started branching like crazy.

So yeah just as a small update to post #47 (page 5)

Here's mine. I got it for free as a gift on a small etsy order a year ago. It had no roots so I figured I would try Japanese potting style.

First note, if you don't scrape the algae you eventually get moss (at least in my grow room). I like the look (although I need to wipe the pot clean)/

Second note, I failed at making the hollow mound, so instead I put some packing peanuts in the bottom 2/3's of the pot and just put a solid ball of sphag on top. Water every 3 days.

It is pushing out it's third spike since June right now. Love the fragrance and elegance of the flowers.

Soooo, guess I should take a picture of my remaining Neo that I paid too much for, got toasted in transit, still half@ss alive, got 50% refunded, and now my sole Neo. Will attempt to remember!

Meanwhile, my best buddy, aka husband, ‘tis his anniversary day of birth. Life is good.

Happy to be able to be random and have random thoughts without critique since it’s my thread.

WW, I would be interested what state it arrived in.

I have found my Neo's so far slightly more fussy than my other vanda's with sometimes leaves dying, reddening or black spots on leaves with mine but I think after the initial transport shock and repotting it into hydroponics mine are coming around.

We shall see. I have the Shuttenno variety which should have pink spurs.
