As you can see from the attached pictures of this year's blooming, the roots are wandering on this side of the plant. I also have 5 small keikis growing from the base (it was originally 6 - I made a bad judgment call and removed one too soon). I think I will just let the plant become a massive specimen before attempting to separate. Unfortunately, I do not think this year's presentation of flowers is as nice as the previous year. The flower quality is equal to or better though.

Thankyou for all the information. I see you have it in a basket but with what medium? My plant is still in the same pot which it was in when I bought it and has never been repotted. I was just wondering if I removed the pot and placed it in a large basket, without disturbing the roots, would this set the plant back a few years?? Or would it give it another 'kick-forward'?

I removed mine from a pot (2 years ago), did not disturb the roots/ medium (very little bark - mainly roots), placed in the basket lined with coconut fiber, and filled in with a bark mix from a box store. It did not experience a set back that I could discern. If you do repot I would make certain to have a strong support. Mine seems to lean to the side, which may cause issues in a year or two.
