Default recommendations for a terrarium fan

I have converted a 75 gallon fish acquarium into an orchind terrarium (could not get the family to assist in the care and maintenance of it). I plan to plan about 8 small phaps and several larger phals in it, I have the lighting worked out for it. The rest of the bunch (about 45 total - Cats, Dens, Vanda, Occiduiums, brassia, encylia) will be set out around the house for the winter. (which seems to work for me) What type of fan would work best? I have seen several in the Urban Greenhosue catalog, but they seem to "require some assembly" I have to do the assembly I need something easy. Any receommendations? Thanks

Radio Shack sells 120v "muffin fans" that are perfect for the job.

Just stumbled on this thread. It's old, but hopefully someone is still looking. These little fans look like just the ticket. One question: I want to use them on my bakers rack, one per shelf; each shelf is 48" x 24". Which size would you recommend? The 3.125"/31 CFM, or the 4.75"/67 CFM? Thanks for the input!

Stephen, I have both sizes. While not recommending one over the other, each has it's place. The 4" fan puts out a lot of air, but is noisy. The 3" puts out a fair amount of air (maybe 1/2 the 4") and is extremely quiet.

Thanks, Ross. One more question: the rack will be enclosed in a clear vinyl cover. Would you think it's better for air flow to mount the fans vertically, in a corner of each shelf, or rather horizontally at the top of each shelf underneath the light?

I find PC fans work quite well.

Stephen, just for clarification, By "vertically" do you mean with the fan upright so it blows across the rack and by "horizontally" that the fan would be blowing air either downwards towards the bottom of the rack or upwards the top?

Yep, that's what I meant!
