That's really looking NICE Tonio! You're really making me want to take one of my small aquariums out of the basement and start building!

I am really liking the progress. One question. Are you using the tank water for the plants?

The nepenthes will die in a year or two. They cannot handle nitrogen

Yes, however there is 1.2 ppm NO3 in the water a the moment (just tested it) that's 0.27 mg/l N. That should not cause to many issues.

I'm still not sure how to go about fertilizing. At this point I'm thinking of keeping the tank water as low on ferts as the aquatic plants will allow, and give the other plants a little extra from time to time wen spraying them.

The Nepenthes is a beautiful plant but I think it is not right for this tank, to big, to much. It will only stay until I have an other project where it fits in better or I can make someone else happy with it.

Thank you. I love that they sell small plants for a very reasonable price.
