I don't know why, but recently I've realized that after all those years, my collection did not contain any of this wonderful little species somehow...so I bought one last month. Now it is sending out two flower spikes.

This is a dwarf variety of Phal. japonica: its leaves are just about an inch long, much smaller than already small-sized species; there are some variegated dwarf varieties developed in Japan which looks quite spectacular, btw.

love these tiny ones and love the variegated forms. I can hardly believe these are the same Sedirea japonica until they flower and look the exact same

Well, it is just simple hack. I just drilled couple of holes on the top of the pot and ran some thick aluminum wire through the hole; at the one end, the wire was bent around the hole to tighten it and cut short; and the extruding wires at the other end were twined together to make a hook.

Hack = brilliant!

I love this. I am going to shamelessly steal this for bulbophyllum

I have the inside of the baskets dialed in but I am not a huge fan of the 3 and 4 wire hangers.....thanks again!!!

I think you are a very clever grower, you and your partner both, I think I have copied or modified like four of your ideas already

Please keep em coming

Perfectly petite. Before I acquire one, why the gravel medium? Obviously does well but I haven't seen them grow like this before.
