Default fuzzy white fungus update

So I have posted many questions on the fuzzy white fungus that keeps appearing consistently. Here is an update! I was watering yesterday and found that the main pot that I have problems with the fuzzy white fungus growing under the top layer of the PrimeAgra had the fungus growing again. I don't have this problem in my other pots of PrimeAgra so I knew something else had to be going on, at first I watered the plant with a dilution of Physan 20 (is this okay to do with s/h?). But then I decided that I should take a look at the roots to see what really was going on and there I found my problem. I didn't wait for this plant to have new growth before converting it....I am an impatient person and I think I am going to regret doing that! But I found that the roots were completely rotted and I think that is why the fungus was growing because of the rot. So I trimmed all of the dead roots off, I sure have gotten good at doing that! Upon trimming the roots I found that the plant was really two with the roots tangled together instead on one! So I am going to soak in a solution that Ray recommends and pot it back up in the PrimeAgra and put it in a ziplock baggy and cross my fingers! I have several other plants that I am using this method with and so far I am seeing good results! I how long should I let the roots grow until it is okay to pot back up if I didn't put the plant in the s/h when doing the sphag-n-bag method? Also, one of the plants has what looks like new root growth in the sphag-n-bag method but no new roots yet and another plant looks like it is putting out new roots but no new growth? Is this normal? Sorry this is so long! I like to go into detail. Any help is much appreciated!
Recap on questions:
1) is a solution of physan 20 okay to water with in s/h?
2) w/ sphag-n-bag how long should the roots be before repotting?
3) is new growth w/no new roots and new roots w/no new growth normal when using sphag-n-bag?

TIA!

Ray is probably the best one to answer these questions for you. I'll try to help with the first two. In regards to the first question, I believe this is okay, but I am unsure of the exact concentration of physan that should be used. For the second question, if you have a few roots that are at least 2 cm or almost an inch, I would repot into s/h and put it in a bag until the roots grow down into the primeagra at which point you can remove the bag.
