Hi Gilda, I have just one minature Phal in S/H and it has done well for several years. I took the rest out because I didn't like the alge buildup on the inside of the clear pots I had them in. It does make watering a snap though. Brenda

I agree, I don't like to see the algae either , that is why I slipped the 32 oz pots into the black plastic pots. I saw this done in someone's photo gallery but can't remember which forum it was on... Now I have to find something for the big 64oz pots ! I turn the 2 SH drain holes to the corner of the black pot and make a hole in the bottom of the black pot at that corner. It also keeps the "fountain" of water from spraying out all over,,,,which I hate worse than the algae !
