Hi Gilda,
Thanks for the picture. Wow! The plant does look happy. I did repot some of the phals. that did not spike this winter. These were my $5 phals. that needed extra TLC. I did not expect these to flower this time. So after 3 months in S/H I dumped them out and replanted the aerial roots. I am curious to see if in 3 months, they are again up in the air. I read that sometimes the medium can be packed to hard, so I loosened the pebbles and perhaps this will allow more root room. Time will tell.
I notice the catts. have the same story but many of those roots also reach into the medium. But I do agree, the root growth has been amazing since I placed the plants in s/h.
