My fab Southern Burner heater has given up the ghost; no longer in business, parts unavailable, so I need a new backup heater in the greenhouse (Ohio, US) in case of main furnace failure or power...

Helcia was moved back into Trichopilia in 2000, and later DNA studies have supported this move. I grow my namesake Trichopilia Tennis like my other 200 or so Trichopilias, cooler with lower light....

I find it to be a robust grower and reliable bloomer. I grow it cool and never let it dry out completely; it's growing underbench with the rest of my trichopilias and getting about paph light....
