The outdoors is filled with bugs. There's no way to be "bug free"...

Agreed as well, Bill. Thatís how most florists do it. I have a big cache pot on a side table. Whatever goes in it is whatís in bloom at the moment. Couple three small ones or sometimes one biggun.

I have similar pots, with Catts in them, and they are fine. I do drill the hole, because for me it's easier to flush each time I water.

As long as the rhizome isn't more than a layer or so down...
