Do they seem to jump around in the water? It's hard to tell from the picture, but they could be springtails. I don't think they damage the plant, they live on decaying materials and fungus mostly.

I think your orchid is a zygo, the flowers look right and they bloom from new growth that is just starting to form. Look up Zygopetalum, I think that would help.
