dormancy is absolutely possible, my fdk is currently leafless and ready to bloom. I think the leaf texture freaked me out more than anything -maybe I have just never noticed it before.

Blc. Sun Spots 'Waiomao's Golden Leopard'

The compact cattleya that completely opened my eyes to the rugged and easy growing nature of catts. Also, a bifoliate that did not sulk upon repotting. Spicy morning fragrance.
