Yeah- I don't think its from the lights. It is definetly a cal/mag deficency. I am not going to go into all the details as to why.

Thanks to you both. I picked an airy mix (the catt.one) which had bark about the same size as it came in. I added a bit of spagh. to retain moisture but not so much as to smother the roots.
