Yes, that is heat damage, and not enough watering. If you keep it against that metal wall, it will be even hotter. Even with daily soaks there isn't enough time to take up enough water.

If you don't already do this - point the hot air jet away from your plants. It will carry steam you can't see that can easily burn them.

That looks like heat damage. Too much sun. Phalaenopsis don't need any sun on the leaves. It will become dry like paper. Don't cut anything off yet.
