Applying any hormones to any organism too often causes problems. Ray recommends using Kelpak once per month. He has mentioned using it more often might cause problems with developing buds.

That looks like heat damage. Too much sun. Phalaenopsis don't need any sun on the leaves. It will become dry like paper. Don't cut anything off yet.
