this is the second and third spike but as this plant gets bigger, the longer the cycle for each PB to mature it...

if my memory serves me correctly, the pileatum is with the largest flower while the denticulatum is one with the smallest flower in the genera.

not really, they usually bloom at once, the last bud that you notice in the spike are underdeveloped bud, it will wither along with the other flowers when the spike expires.
